Bao, Soho.

It’s the original daddy of the Taiwanese bao craze which swept through the city this summer. Picking up a horde of new followers thanks to their pillow-soft steamed buns and succulent sweet & savoury fillings, it’s no surprise how Bao went from market stall to central London hot spot. Fans of small plates and shared dining will love the relaxed atmosphere in their flagship Soho location, where the relatively limited menu can be fully explored between friends. There’s a reason why, a year after opening, there are still queues outside every day whatever the weather.
