When you reach the crimson and golden ornate doors of this family run joint, you’d be forgiven for thinking that it’s just another run of the mill Chinese restaurant, but all it takes is a step inside to see why you might be wrong.
Despite being located underneath student accommodation and on one of the busiest roads in the area, the moment you step inside the tranquil foyer complete with koi pond and waterfall you already feel at peace.
There’s no shortage of good dim sum places in London but what many of them seem to lack is soul when it comes to the decor and atmosphere of the room. Dragon Castle has no such issue; the main dining area is classy, quirky and warm. And the dim sum itself? Delicious. A wide variety, each perfectly cooked and incredibly affordable. Dim sum is not a place for small appetites as it’s very easy to fill up- and quickly.
Easy to reach and easy to spot, Dragon Castle is not one to be overlooked.
